A square concrete pillar, 6 meters high, stands on the pier on the west side of Agutaya Island. Its focal plane reaches 7 meters above sea level. The structure emits a white flash every 5 seconds, visible for 9.3 nautical miles. Agutaya Island is home to about 12,500 residents and is located in the east central part of the Philippine archipelago. The lighthouse site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This light guides vessels approaching Agutaya Island's western pier, a significant hub for its residents.
