A 22-meter tall, cylindrical concrete tower marks Ystervark Point, in the Western Cape, South Africa. Painted with red and white spiral bands, it was erected in 2006, succeeding a former square skeletal structure. The light, with a focal height of 50 meters, flashes white once every 10 seconds (Fl W 10s) and has a geographic range of 18.7 nautical miles. Visitors can access the site, but the tower is not open for public entry.
