First lit in 1902, the station's structure has seen significant changes, evolving from a post light to a 7-meter square pyramidal steel skeletal tower and then reverting to a post. The skeletal tower was painted white with a single red horizontal band. This light provides a geographic range of 11 nautical miles and emits a white flash every 5 seconds. Its focal height is 12 meters.
