The Lightship Dàgū, constructed in 1911, is a steel vessel with a quadrilateral tower that stands 25 meters tall. Its light is positioned 10 meters above the water and has a geographic range of 10.4 nautical miles. The ship displays a white flash every 6 seconds. Originally stationed on a shoal outside the entrance to Tiānjīn, Héběi, it was decommissioned in 1978. The lightship was transferred in 1981 and subsequently refurbished in 2013, with a restoration completed for its 100th anniversary. It is now located on land near the entrance to Jiāozhōu Bay, serving as a historical exhibit.
