This white, cylindrical masonry tower stands 8 meters tall and was first lit in 1913. It is situated on the tip of the Iğneada Burnu cape, projecting into the Black Sea near Limanköy. The lighthouse is about 8 kilometers south of the Bulgarian border. Its operational light emits a white flash every 15 seconds. The structure includes a 1-story masonry keeper's house adjoining the tower. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: The lighthouse marks the Iğneada Burnu cape near the Turkish-Bulgarian maritime boundary, a significant point for vessels in the western Black Sea.
