Also known as: Hòn Mát (Mui Sot)
Built in 2004, this cylindrical concrete tower stands 12.5 meters tall and is painted yellow with white trim. It features a lantern and gallery, with its light positioned 202 meters above sea level. The lighthouse emits two white flashes followed by one white flash every period, and has a geographic range of 33.8 nautical miles. Constructed on the highest point of an island approximately 20 kilometers off Vietnam's north central coast, it is reachable only by boat. A two-story keeper's house is also present at the site.
Why it matters: This lighthouse provides essential landfall guidance for vessels navigating to the port of Vinh, a significant shipping hub on Vietnam's north central coast.
