Cap Falcon Lighthouse is a stone structure built in 1868. The lighthouse features a cylindrical tower rising 27 meters, topped with a lantern and gallery. It is situated on a cape about 5 kilometers northwest of Aïn el-Türck. From its focal height of 104 meters, it emits a white flash every 25 seconds, visible for over 25 nautical miles. The lighthouse is attached to a one-story stone keeper's house.
Why it matters: This lighthouse marks the western entrance to the Bay of Oran and serves as the traditional landfall light for vessels approaching the port of Oran from the west.
