This square masonry lighthouse, built in 1881, stands 29 meters tall on a headland west of Dellys, Algeria. The structure rises from a two-story keeper's house and is topped by a white tower with a green lantern dome. Its focal plane is 63 meters above sea level, providing a geographic range of 20.5 nautical miles. The light emits four white flashes every 15 seconds. The lighthouse was damaged and became inactive following an earthquake in 2003, but preservation work began in 2009.
