This white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 8.5 meters tall on a concrete pier. It is located on the west side of Haro Strait, north of Victoria, and directly across from Lime Kiln Lighthouse. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 4 seconds. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed. Its geographic range is 9.9 nautical miles.
Why it matters: Zero Rock lighthouse warns mariners of a submerged hazard in the busy Haro Strait, a key international shipping lane.
