Its focal plane is 9 meters above the water, providing a geographic range of 10 nautical miles. This modern structure, built in 2017, replaced a 1905 lighthouse that had significantly deteriorated. The light emits a fixed red signal. The island site where the lighthouse stands is accessible to visitors, though the tower itself is closed.
