A white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 9 meters tall on the highest point of Elliðaey, an island situated 5 km northwest of Stykkishólmur in Iceland's Breidafjörður. The structure, completed and first lit in 1951, features a lantern painted red and a gallery. Its focal height reaches 47 meters above sea level. The lighthouse emits a white, red, and green light, cycling through these colors with three flashes every 10 seconds, visible for over 18 nautical miles. The tower's design is a triangular cylinder, painted white.
