This square pyramidal skeletal tower, standing 13 meters tall, is located on the east side of the Sydenham River entrance from Owen Sound. It was first lit in 1851. The structure carries a trapezoidal daymark, painted white with a red vertical stripe. Originally, range lights were replaced in 1883 and again in 1909. The front light was rebuilt in 1911 after sustaining fire damage. The tower emits a green light, characterized as a fixed green, with a focal height of 15 meters and a geographic range of 11.9 nautical miles. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself remains closed.
