This masonry lighthouse stands 41 meters tall with a round, white tower. Its light, visible for 24 nautical miles, emits an occulting white signal. The structure itself reaches 112 feet in height. Construction of the lighthouse was completed between 1854 and 1858. It is situated in the village of Cap-des-Rosiers in Eastern Quebec.
