Angus Island Lighthouse, established in 1927, stands on a small island at the southeastern entrance to Thunder Bay, Ontario. The square pyramidal steel skeletal tower is 21 meters high, with its light positioned 24.5 meters above the water. This active aid displays a white flash every 20 seconds, visible for 14.2 nautical miles. The station includes a 1-1/2 story keeper's house and other ancillary buildings from its operational start. Access to the island is permitted, though the tower remains closed to visitors.
