A white skeletal iron tower, 82 meters in height, was erected in 2021. The light source is situated 105 meters above sea level. The structure emits a white occulting flash with a 5-second period, visible for 9 nautical miles. The location includes several coast guard buildings and is situated on a cape southwest of Majene in Banggae.
Why it matters: This navigation aid marks the harbour entrance.
