This skeletal metal tower stands 40 meters tall, painted white, with its light positioned 42 meters above sea level. It emits a single white flash every five seconds. The lighthouse is located on a swampy cape forming the northeastern corner of Bengkalis Island. The current structure replaced an earlier, shorter tower. The station is associated with coast guard buildings.
Why it matters: The light warns mariners of the swampy cape, a navigational hazard on the northeastern tip of Bengkalis Island.
