A red pyramidal concrete beacon marks the eastern entrance to Sunda Kelapa Harbor. The structure stands 17 meters tall with a focal height of 17 meters. It emits an occulting red light, showing a red flash every 6 seconds. A red topmark and a red square daymark are also present on the beacon. The lighthouse is located off the end of the west breakwater, accessible only by boat.
