This square skeletal metal tower stands 14 meters tall, with its lantern and gallery painted white. Situated on the westernmost of the Sambergelap Islands, it is approximately 33.3 kilometers from the nearest port, Tanjung Pemancingan. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 15 seconds, visible for a geographic range of 13.4 nautical miles. Its focal height reaches 21 meters above sea level. The establishment of this light marked the Sambergelap Islands, an archipelago located about 30 kilometers east of Pulau Laut, to aid mariners.
