About Punta Delgada Lighthouse
The Punta Delgada Lighthouse, built in 1898, is a quadrilateral masonry tower standing 12 meters tall. Its focal plane reaches 21 meters above sea level, providing a geographic range of 19 nautical miles. The tower features white and green coloring and displays a rectangular daymark. A single white flash occurs every 5 seconds. This structure has been operational since its construction and first lighting in 1898.
