The Almirante Brown lighthouse was built in 1949 of concrete and became operational that same year. The white cylindrical tower stands 5 meters tall. Its focal plane is 76.5 meters above sea level. A red bull's-eye daymark with horizontal red bars adorns the white tower. It displays a flashing red light, with two flashes separated by 4 seconds, repeating every 16 seconds.
