About Pulau Temang Lighthouse
The Pulau Temang lighthouse is an octagonal white concrete tower 22 meters high, topped with a lantern and gallery. Its focal plane is 65 meters above sea level. The light emits a single white flash every 9 seconds and has a geographic range of 20.8 nautical miles. This structure replaced an earlier skeletal tower when it was established in 1913. The station includes several coast guard buildings.
