About Jaewando Lighthouse
Also known as: Jaewando (Chaewon Do)
A cylindrical concrete tower, standing 10 meters tall and 17 meters above sea level, marks the Jaewando. This structure is painted black and features a single red horizontal band. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 5 seconds, visible for 12.4 nautical miles. It is located on a small island approximately 3 kilometers east of the Haeseo Light in South Korea's South Jeolla region. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
