About Fanjove Island Lighthouse
The Fanjove Island lighthouse, established in 1894, was completed and first lit in 1924. It features a 17-meter square tower painted white, with a lantern and gallery. The tower rises from the center of a single-story keeper's house. The light characteristic is a white flash every 10 seconds, with a focal plane approximately 13 meters above sea level. The station was reactivated after a period of inactivity sometime between 2015 and 2018.
