The structure is painted white with black trim and bands around each leg. Its light emits a white flash every 10 seconds, visible for over 20 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated on a bluff approximately 1.9 kilometers from the port of Elat. While the site is accessible to the public, the tower itself remains closed.
