About Chodo Lighthouse
This concrete lighthouse, built in 1982, stands on a small island off the southeastern tip of Chodo. The round, hourglass-shaped tower measures 7 meters in height. Its light is visible for 12 nautical miles. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 10 seconds from a focal height of 55 meters. Access to the island is possible by walking a pier, though the tower itself is not open to the public.
