Located on a detached breakwater in Yuya Bay, it marks the entrance to Agawa harbor, near Shimonoseki. The light emits a green flash every three seconds from a focal height of 10 meters, visible for 10.4 nautical miles. The site is open to visitors arriving by boat, though the tower itself is closed.
