About Yong'an Main Breakwater Inner Lighthouse
This white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 20 meters tall and marks the original end of the main southern breakwater at Yong'an commercial harbor. Located on the north side of the harbor, it is situated about 13 km north of the Naval Base. The lighthouse's round, strongly conical structure served as a navigational aid for vessels entering the port facilities. The nearest port, Yung An, is 0.8 km away.
Why it matters: The lighthouse was integral to the safe navigation of commercial vessels entering Yong'an harbor, specifically marking the end of the main breakwater.
