About Sobeombukdo Lighthouse
This yellow, round concrete tower stands 46 meters tall and was built in 2019. It displays a quick-flashing white light composed of nine flashes every 15 seconds. The tower features black banding and is situated on a small, round island. Its focal plane is 13 meters above sea level, and it has a geographic range of 8 nautical miles. The lighthouse is located on the northwest side of an island at the entrance to Changmong harbor, near the northern end of Geojedo.
