This lighthouse, built of concrete, stands 11 meters tall with a focal height of 51 meters. Its white, cylindrical tower features a lantern and gallery, and is attached to a single-story keeper's cottage. Established in 1926, it emits a white flash every 15 seconds, visible for nearly 19 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated at the northwestern tip of Ōshima, an island approximately 8 kilometers off the coast of Fukuma. The site is open to visitors, though the tower itself remains closed.
