A round, cylindrical concrete tower, 15 meters in height, stands at 16 meters above sea level on the west head of the Seongsanpo North Breakwater. Painted yellow, the structure features a lantern and gallery. This lighthouse emits a single green flash every 6 seconds, visible for 12.2 nautical miles. It is situated just 0.2 kilometers from the nearest port, Seongsan-po, on the eastern side of Jeju Island. The lighthouse has been operational since its construction.
Why it matters: This aid marks the western end of the north breakwater, assisting vessels entering and departing the busy Seongsanpo harbor.
