Located 0.1 kilometers from the nearest port of Seongsan-po, the lighthouse is situated at the eastern head of the north breakwater. Its geographic range extends to 12.2 nautical miles. The tower is painted red to provide a clear visual cue.
Why it matters: This lighthouse is essential for fishing boats and ferries entering or leaving Seongsanpo harbor on Jeju Island. It marks the end of the north breakwater, preventing collisions with the structure.
