The Rocca delle Caminate is a cylindrical brick tower built in 1927, standing 25 meters tall with its light positioned 27 meters above sea level. It displays a white flash every 12 seconds, with a geographic range of 14.7 nautical miles. The structure consists of a square base supporting the tower, which is topped by a lantern and gallery. It is located on a high ridge about 28 km from the coast and 9.1 km from the nearest port at Porto San Giorgio. Although operational, the tower is closed to the public, but the surrounding site is open. The castle served as a summer residence for Benito Mussolini and was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1870 before its 1920s reconstruction.
