Constructed in 1858, the Punta Roballera lighthouse stands atop a vertical headland approximately 1.5 kilometers north of Cudillero. The octagonal masonry tower, standing 10 meters tall and painted white, is attached to a single-story keeper's house and topped with a lantern and a double gallery. Its focal plane reaches 44 meters above the sea, emitting four white occultations every 16 seconds, visible for 17.7 nautical miles. The structure was expanded in 1921, and further significant modifications in the 1980s included heightening the tower and adding a second gallery as part of the Plan de Señales Marítimas. This site was historically used for bonfires to assist sailors.
