The lighthouse is situated at the eastern end of Isla Tranqui, projecting into the Golfo Corcovado approximately 25 kilometers northeast of the Quellón entrance. Its operational status ensures it serves as a navigational aid for vessels in the region. The site is open to visitors, though the tower itself is closed to the public.
