It is mounted on a round concrete pier and is located approximately 1.2 kilometers east of Komobuchi, Japan. The lighthouse emits a single green flash every 8 seconds, visible for 10.2 nautical miles. The site is open to visitors arriving by boat, but the tower itself is not accessible to the public. It is situated off a promontory in the Ehime Prefecture.
