About Manistee North Pierhead Lighthouse
A green, 17-meter-tall tower was constructed in 1926 on Manistee's north pier. Its focal plane is also 17 meters above the water, providing a geographic range of 12 nautical miles. The light emits a green signal that flashes. Although originally built as a pair with its counterpart on the south pier, this structure is no longer operational.
