About Maehyangni Lighthouse
Built in 2007, the Maehyangni lighthouse is a green, cylindrical steel tower standing 16 meters tall. It is situated at the extremity of a long breakwater at the entrance to Pyeongtaek harbor. The lighthouse emits a single green flash every six seconds. Its focal plane is 18 meters above sea level, and it has a geographic range of 12.7 nautical miles. The site is accessible, though the tower itself is closed to the public.
