Established in 1893, Leiholmsund Østre is an active wooden square tower standing 6 meters tall on a skerry southeast of Grimstad, Norway. Its lantern, topped with a red roof, is 8 meters above sea level. The lighthouse emits a directional light with a pattern of white, red, or green flashes occurring every 6 seconds. A round stone cairn painted with black and white stripes is located next to the tower. While the site is accessible by boat, the tower itself is closed to the public. It guides vessels through the complex waterways in the Agder region.
