This cylindrical concrete tower stands 10 meters tall and has a focal height of 13 meters. It is painted red and features a flared top, attached to a small equipment shelter. The lighthouse emits a single red flash every 7 seconds, visible for 11.3 nautical miles. It is situated on a breakwater at the east side of the harbor entrance on Kuchinoerabu Island.
