About Ko Losin Lighthouse
A square skeletal tower made of concrete, 10 meters high, is situated on a solitary rock about 90 kilometers east-northeast of Pattani. The light is located 12 meters above sea level and emits a white flash every 5 seconds (Fl W 5s), visible for 11 nautical miles. The structure has a concrete or masonry base and is painted in black and red bands. Access to the site is possible by boat, though climbing the tower is not permitted.
Why it matters: This structure marks the Ko Losin rock formation, serving as a navigation reference for vessels in the open sea east of Pattani.
