The structure is white with a single black horizontal band. First illuminated in 1915, the lighthouse emits a white flash every 5 seconds. Its focal plane reaches 71 meters above sea level, with a geographic range of 21.5 nautical miles. The tower is positioned at the northern entry to the Golfo di Olbia and the eastern entry to the Golfo di Aranci.
