This white, cylindrical concrete tower, built in 1951, stands 17 meters tall on a bluff at the southeastern end of Hachijōjima. It features a lantern and gallery and rises from the center of a single-story keeper's house. The lighthouse emits a white flash every 10 seconds, visible for approximately 24.4 nautical miles. The site is open to visitors, providing views of the Pacific Ocean, though the tower itself remains closed. This active light is located near the port of Ogasawara.
