This concrete cylindrical tower, painted white, was constructed and first lit in 1969. It stands 18 meters above sea level and emits a green light. The light flashes three times every 8 seconds, providing a geographic range of 13 nautical miles. The lighthouse is located at the end of a breakwater that shelters a harbor associated with the JFE Corporation's steel works.
