The Huāniǎoshān Lighthouse stands on the northern tip of Huāniǎo Shān, the northernmost island of the Mǎ'ān archipelago. Constructed of brick in 1870, the cylindrical tower measures 16.5 meters in height. It features a black exterior with a white horizontal band at its base. The lighthouse emits a single white flash every 15 seconds from a focal height of 89 meters. This structure is located about 130 kilometers southeast of Shànghǎi and serves as an important navigational aid for vessels approaching the city from the south. The lighthouse grounds are open to visitors, though the tower itself is closed.
