About Hapo Hang Lighthouse
This white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 8 meters tall near the southwestern tip of Hansando. Designed to resemble a birdhouse, it emits a green flash every 4 seconds. The lighthouse is situated on the breakwater of a small harbor in Tongyeong-si. Its focal height reaches 12 meters, providing a geographic range of 11 nautical miles. The site is accessible, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
