This lighthouse was a cylindrical white concrete post, standing 8.5 meters tall, located at the end of an inner breakwater in Hagi harbor. It rose from a single-story concrete equipment room, marking the extremity of the breakwater for vessels entering the port. The structure served as a navigational aid for maritime traffic approaching Hagi, a city in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Its operational life concluded around 2020 with its removal.
