The lighthouse emits a white flash every 10 seconds from a focal height of 33 meters, with a geographic range of 15.9 nautical miles. The tower features a lantern and gallery, and its exterior is painted white and orange. A navigational aid was first present at this location in 1941, mounted on a water tank.
