The Dorido Lighthouse, constructed in 1969, is an octagonal concrete structure measuring 9 meters in height. Its exterior is painted yellow, distinguished by a black horizontal band. The structure includes a lantern and gallery at its summit. This functioning light is located on a small island near the northern entry to the ports of Daesan and Pyeongtaek. It emits a white light with a characteristic of Fl W 6s, offering a regular signal to seafarers. Visitors may access the lighthouse grounds, but the tower is not open to the public. Pyeongtaek, the closest port, is 6.1 kilometers distant.
