This 8-meter cylindrical concrete tower, identified by its red exterior with thin white horizontal stripes, is located on a reef near the Mongsanpo harbor in South Korea's western Taean region. It rests upon a circular concrete base. The light characteristic is a single white flash occurring every 10 seconds, with a geographic range of 11.3 nautical miles. Visitors can access the site, but entry into the tower is restricted. Taean-gun port lies 15.3 kilometers from this location.
