Daeseo Lighthouse became operational in 2006 and was first lit in the same year. The structure is a 12-meter tower painted black with a red horizontal band. It exhibits a white light with two flashes every 5 seconds. The focal height of the light is 10 meters above sea level. This light is situated on a reef in the northern part of Goseong Bay.
